RING LAUNCHES MAYORAL PLATFORM IN THE SPIRIT OF A CARING COMMUNITY

Rory Ring Candidate For Mayor invites you to the Sault Ste. Marie Soup Kitchen and Community Centre on September 13, 2018 at 5 PM to break bread.

Launching his platform to vie for the top spot of Mayor, Rory Ring launches his platform at the Sault Ste. Marie Soup Kitchen and Community Centre on Thursday, September 13 at 5 pm. He encourages everyone wishing to attend to bring donations of canned goods, dry goods, produce from their gardens, hygiene products, diapers etc. and financial donations are always welcome at the Community Centre.

The Soup Kitchen and Community Centre is a vital part of this community, not only servicing the surrounding community but also those throughout the city that have struggled through the downsizing at Tenaris, fall out from unpaid accounts at Algoma, or individuals throughout the community that have, for whatever reason, fallen on hard times.

“Thanksgiving is fast approaching and represents everything that a caring community means to shared prosperity, family, hope and people giving a helping hand up to our fellow citizens in a time of need. By holding the platform launch here at the Sault Ste. Marie Soup Kitchen and Community Centre it is a clear demonstration that I as a municipal leader would be focussed on our citizens, all our citizens”, says Ring.

The Ring campaign will be providing a simple family meal at 5 pm with remarks prior to service. Attendees are encouraged to bring goods that will help individuals and families be prepared for thanks giving, should any meats be donated please call ahead to ensure that they can be receive these items and their storage accommodate these items.

“Through the Chamber of Commerce, I and the Sault Ste. Marie Soup Kitchen and Community Centre have had a standing relationship which has encouraged and fostered giving from the business community. It is my pleasure to extend that relationship into my now political life” says Ring.
